The Istanbul Fire Department non-stop continues with educational work initiated with the aim of creating public awareness for disaster in every segment of society. The trainers of the Istanbul Fire Department's Training Center gave fire safety training to the people with disabilities in the Küçükçekmece Private Job Training & Practice Center. In the first part of the drill, the trainees were given information on fire and combustion, hazards on fire scene, fire extinguishers and their usage, methods of proper actions in fires and disasters, and pre-fire measures to be taken. In the second part, the attendees wearing training clothes conducted a fire drill. The course ended with souvenir gifts to the trainees.
