A fire broke out in a single-storey wooden restaurant on Riva Yolu Road in Mahmut Şevket Paşa Neighbourhood, Beykoz. The Fire Department was called at 09:48 and fire crews from Kavacık and Beykoz stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the restaurant, no one was injured or dead.
