Fire in a forestland on Ayvacık Street in Uskumruköy Neighbourhood, Sarıyer
A fire broke out in a forestland on Ayvacık Street in Uskumruköy Neighbourhood, Sarıyer. The Fire Department was called at 13:49 and fire crews from Maden and Sarıyer stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon along with Flame Eagle - the fire helicopter of Istanbul Fire Department- for airborne support, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the forested land, no one was injured or dead.
