A fire broke out at the electricity meters on the ground floor of a five-storey building on Cumhuriyetçi Street in Zeytinlik Neighbourhood, Bakırköy. The Fire Department was called at 10:50 and firefighters from Bakırköy station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. Five people trapped on upper floors were rescued by the firefighters.
