A fire broke out in the first-floor workplace of a five-storey building on Asya Street in Katip Kasım Neighbourhood, Kumkapı. The Fire Department was called at 10:30 and firefighters from Fatih station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. Five people trapped on upper floors were rescued by the firefighters. While the fire resulted in damage to the workplace, no one was injured or dead.
