A fire broke out in a flat on the ground floor of a six-storey building on İsa Yusuf Alptekin Street in Nuripaşa Neighbourhood, Zeytinburnu. The Fire Department was called at 02:12 and fire crews from Zeytinburnu and Bakırköy stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. People trapped on upper floors were rescued by the fire crews and seven people affected by smoke were taken to hospital by paramedics. While the fire resulted in damage to the flat, no one was dead.
