A fire broke out at the roof of a derelict two-storey building on Kalkan Street in Kestanelik Village, Çatalca. The Fire Department was called at 12:04 and fire crews from Kestanelik volunteer fire station and Çatalca station attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the roof, no one was injured or dead.
