A fire broke out in the first-floor flat of a four-storey building on Beyceğiz Fırını Street in Atikali Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 03:22 and firefighters from Fatih station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. Two people trapped on upper floors were rescued by the firefighters and taken to hospital by paramedics. While the fire resulted in damage to the flat, no one was dead.
