A fire broke out in a recycling shop on the ground floor of a three-storey workplace on Akyıldız Street in Gençosman Neighbourhood, Güngören. The Fire Department was called at 14:45 and fire crews from Davutpaşa, Merter and Bağcılar stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the shop, no one was injured or dead.
