The Istanbul Fire Department non-stop continues with educational work initiated with the aim of creating public awareness for disaster in every segment of society. Firefighters from Kayışdağı fire station conducted a fire drill for 20 kids and 25 personnel at Metin Sabancı Spastic Children Center on Prof. Dr. Hıfzı Özcan Road in Küçükbakkalköy Neighbourhood. Accoding to the scenario, the Fire Department was called at 14:15 and fire crews from Kayışdağı station attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued the people affected by the smoke. They were delivered over to paramedics. The smoke was ventilated out and the fire drill ended successfully.
