A fire broke out at the electrical transformer on the basement floor of a building on Prof. Dr. Bülent Tarcan Road in Gayrettepe Neighbourhood, Beşiktaş. The Fire Department was called at 07:02 and fire crews from Beyoğlu, Mecidiyeköy, Beşiktaş, Şişli and Bakırköy stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the basement floor, no one was injured or dead.
