A fire broke out on the ground floor of a five-storey hotel on Çifte Gelinler Road in Kumkapı, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 20:40 and fire crews from Fatih, Bakırköy, Bayrampaşa, Beyoğlu and Şişli stations attended the incident. 64 fire engines in 20 fire engines, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. 35 people trapped on upper floor were evacuated by the fire crews. 3 people heavily affected by the fire were taken to hospital by paramedics.
