A fire broke out in the containers where the workers had stayed in the building site of a construction company on Ankara Road in Yunus Neighbourhood, Kartal. The Fire Department was called at 14:09 and fire crews from Kartal, Pendik, Maltepe and Yakacık stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the containers, no one was injured or dead.
