A fire broke out at the electric meters of an eight-storey building on Atatürk Road in Fındıklı Neighbourhood, Maltepe. The Fire Department was called at 15:27 and firefighters from Kayışdağı station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued five people trapped on upper floors. While the fire resulted in damage to the building, no one was injured or dead.
