A fire broke out in a flat on the first floor of a five-storey building on Yanarsu Street in Etiler. The Fire Department was called at 23:48 and firefighters from Beşiktaş station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and evacuated seven people trapped on upper floors and affected by thick smoke. Also a cat was given oxygen and then delivered over to its owner.
