A fire broke out in a forestland in the vicity of Marmaracık Cove in Rumeli Feneri Neighbourhood, Sarıyer. The Fire Department was called at 14:06 and fire crews from Maden, Yavuz Sultan Selim, Kemerburgaz and Sarıyer stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon along with the Flame Eagle, which applied 56,800 litres of water and 38 litres of foam by making 12 sorties, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the forestland, no one was injured or dead.
