A fire broke out in the basement flat of a five-storey building on Müftü Street in Dervişali Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 07:37 and fire crews from Fatih and Balat stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued 5 people trapped on upper floors. While the fire resulted in damage to the flat, no one was injured or dead.
