It was informed that a young sparrowhawk's leg had been tangled with a rope at the roof of a four-storey building on Simay Street in Yakacık Gümüşpınar Neighbourhood, Kartal. The Fire Department was called at 15:35 and firefighters from Kartal station attended the incident. The crew, arriving at the scene soon, rescued the bird from where it had been trapped. The firefighters returned to the station with the joy of rescuing an animal in need of help.
