A fire broke out on the third floor of a ten-storey building on Gülten Street, Vatan Road in Gürpınar Neighbourhood, Beylikdüzü. The Fire Department was called at 14:58 and fire crews from Beykent and Beylikdüzü stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued eight people affected by smoke. Then they were examined by paramedics. While the fire resulted in damage to the dwelling, no one was dead.
