A fire broke out on the roof of a three-storey hotel on Kadırga Limanı Road in Kumkapı. The Fire Department was called at 20:35 and fire crews from Fatih and Eminönü stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the roof, no one was injured or dead.
