A fire broke out on the first floor of a three-storey building on Karpuz Street in Bostan Neighbourhood, Beyoğlu. The Fire Department was called at 23:40 and fire crews from Beyoğlı, Fatih and Şişli stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued three people trapped in the building. Then they were taken to hospital by paramedics. While the fire resulted in damage to the dwelling, no one was dead.
