A fire broke out in a single-storey restaurant on Yahya Kemal Road in Rumeli Hisarı. The Fire Department was called at 08:24 and fire crews from İstinye, Şişli, Beşiktaş, Seyrantepe, Ortaköy and Hacıosman stations attended the fire. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the restaurant, no one was injured or dead.
