A fire broke out on the second floor of a six-storey building on 1875 Street in Mehterçeşme Neighbourhood, Esenyurt. The Fire Department was called at 15:44 and fire crews from Beylikdüzü, Esenyurt and Yakuplu stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued 8 people trapped on upper floors. While the fire resulted in damage to the dwelling, no one was injured or dead.
