A fire broke out on the ground floor of a four-storey building on Aynalı Dükkan Street in Ayvansaray Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 23:45 and fire crews from Fatih, Balat and Eminönü stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued 7 people trapped on upper floors. Then they were taken to hospitals by paramedics. While the fire resulted in damage to the dwelling, no one was dead.
