Course on “identifying origins/causes of fires and reporting” carried out
The Istanbul Fire Department, which is on duty 365/24 for the citizens of Istanbul to live in safety, goes on training non-stop. The Fire Department, which increases the numbers of personnel and stations in a planned way, aims to keep the knowledge, skill and performance of the personnel at the highest level through the in-service training given in Resneli Training Facilities. Within this scope, a training course on “identifying origins/causes of fires and reporting” was carried out. It consisted of:
- Legal liability, relationship between fire and crime
- Chemistry of fire and fire patterns
- Location and origin of fire
- Analysis of unintended and deliberate fire causes
- Techniques of photographing
- Investigation of electrical fires
- Investigation of vehicle fires
- Practical group work on an example of a fire scene
- Reporting origins/causes of fires, and so on…
