A fire broke out in a single-storey workplace in Ziya Gökalp Neighbourhood in Bağcılar-Güngören Industrial Estate in Başakşehir. The Fire Department was called at 10:40 and fire crews from İkitelli, Başakşehir, Bağcılar, Seyrantepe and Şişli stations attended the incident. 57 firefighters in 20 fire engines, arriving at the scene soon along with ambulances, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the workplace, no one was injured or dead.
