A fire broke out in a three-storey wooden building on Ahmet Rıfai Street in Ayvansaray Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 19:48 and fire crews from Fatih, Balat, Şişli, Bayrampaşa, Beyoğlu, Sadabat, Seyrantepe and Kocamustafapaşa stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued a kitten from where it had been trapped. While the fire resulted in damage to the wooden building, no one was injured or dead.
