A fire broke out at the roof of a single-storey shanty house on Rekor Street, Artvin Road in Mecidiye Neighbourhood, Yenişehir. The Fire Department was called at 03:44 and fire crews from Yenişehir and Sultanbeyli stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the roof, no one was injured or dead.
