A fire broke out at the electrical panel on the basement floor of an eleven-storey building on 1983 Street in Cumhuriyet Neighbourhood, Esenyurt. The Fire Department was called at 17:14 and firefighters from Beylikdüzü station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and evacuated 15 people trapped on upper floors. While the fire resulted in damage to the basement, no one was injured or dead.
