A fire broke out in the third-floor workplace of a five-storey building on Çifte Havuzlar Road in Maltepe Neighbourhood, Zeytinburnu. The Fire Department was called at 09:43 and fire crews from Bayrampaşa, Davutpaşa, Fatih, Bakırköy and Şişli stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and evacuated one person trapped on the upper floor. Also four people affected by smoke were taken to hospital by paramedics.
