A fire broke out in a coal shed on the basement floor of a five-storey building on Şar Street in Yenidoğan Neighbourhood, Bayrampaşa. The Fire Department was called at 16:10 and firefighters from Bayrampaşa station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued two people trapped on upper floors. While the fire resulted in damage to the coal shed, no one was injured or dead.
