A fire broke out in a store on the ground floor of a five-storey building on G-527 Street in Yeşilkent Neighbourhood, Avcılar. The Fire Department was called at 11:22 and fire crews from Avcılar, Esenyurt and Bakırköy stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the store, no one was injured or dead.
