A fire broke out on North Marmara Highway in the direction of Edirne, in Pirinççi Neighbourhood, Eyüpsultan. The Fire Department was called at 11:35 and firefighters from Yavuz Sultan Selim and Kemerburgaz stations attended the incident. The crews, arriving at the scene soon, rescued the truck driver stuck in the vehicle. He was taken to hospital by paramedics. While the accident resulted in damage to the truck, no one was dead.
