A fire broke out in the basement-floor flat of a four-storey building on Babayiğit Street in Muhsine Hatun Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 07:14 and fire crews from Fatih and Eminönü stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the secene soon, extinguished the blaze ande rescued a person affected by smoke who would be taken by paramedics.
