A fire broke out on the second floor of a three-storey villa on the 7th Road in the 2nd Division in Başakşehir. The Fire Department was called at 10:25 and fire crews from Esenyurt, Bahçeşehir and Avcılar stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued two people affected by smoke who were taken to hospital by paramedics. While the fire resulted in damage to the dwelling, no one was dead.
