A fire broke out on the basement floor of an eight-storey building on Akasyalar Street, Şehit Hakan Kurban Road in Atalar Neighbourhood, Kartal. The Fire Department was called at 18:38 and firefighters from Kartal station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the dwelling, no one was injured or dead.
